Copyright Transfer Agreement Required for Abstract Submission

With the submission of the abstract to the 17th IMSC server, Conference Organisers acquire exclusively for three years from the date on which the abstract is published and thereafter for the full term of copyright on a non-exclusive basis all publishing rights including those of pre-publication, reprinting, translating, other forms of reproduction e.g. by photocopy, microform or other means including machine-readable forms like CD-ROM, CD-I, DVD, diskettes, electronic storage and publishing via Local Area Networks, Intranet and Internet, and other data networks and other forms of distribution e.g. by Document Delivery-Services of this abstract world-wide. This includes the right of IMSS to transfer to third parties the partial or full rights. Moreover, by submitting the abstract, the participant agrees that the provisions of the laws of the Czech Republic will apply to any dispute.

All best endeavours will be made to present the Conference programme as printed in the Final Programme Announcement. However, the Conference Secretariat reserve the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables or plans relating directly or indirectly to the conference or exhibition, for any cause beyond their reasonable control. The Conference Secretariat is not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alterations. Participants are advised to take out their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions: the conference does not cover individuals against cancellations or thefts of belongings.

In the event that the Conference is cancelled by the Organisers, except for any reason outside the control of organisers, the registration shall be refunded in full. The liability of the organisers shall be limited to that refund and the organisers shall not be liable for any loss, cost of expense, howsoever caused, incurred or arising.

The Secretariat will hold and process your personal details in our database. This information is necessary for legitimate management of this conference, which may include it being available to any organising/sponsoring company. We may also use these details to provide you with information of other conferences or events. Please advise us should any of your details change. You may of course remove your details from our database by advising us in writing, at any time.
