The conference will be held in the modern building of the Prague Congress Centre located close to the Prague City.Prague Congress Centre (PCC)
The PCC (in Czech indicated as „Kongresove Centrum“) is located on the street „5. kvetna“ next to the subway station Vysehrad (Red Line C).
By Public Transport
The airport is located approximately 20 km northwest of the city centre. The Airport is served either by public bus or taxi. From the Airport take bus No. 119 (which runs every 10 minutes) to Dejvicka Metro station (Line A). Take Metro Line A (direction Skalka) to the Muzeum; change to Line C (direction Haje). Exit at the stop Vysehrad (the second stop from the Muzeum). The Prague Congress Centre is next to the Metro station Vysehrad. By bus and Metro the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Travelling by public transport requires prior purchase of a ticket which you must validate when you enter. For the journey from the Airport to the PCC a single transfer ticket is required. The ticket is valid for 75 minutes after marking. During the off-peak hours (8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on working days and all day Saturdays and Sundays) the ticket validity is lengthened to 90 minutes.
The Prague Congress Centre is 30 minutes away from the Airport. The price for a taxi should not be higher than approximately 700 CZK (Euro 22). Make sure to agree on the price before starting the ride. Credit cards are not accepted. Cash is the only means of payment.
From the Airport take route R7 in the direction of Prague centre. There is a big junction after 4 km. Follow the direction for Brno (route E48). Keep the direction Brno (E48/E50) for next 23 km up to the Exit Jesenice, Centrum, Michle. Continue along Videnska street in the direction Centrum, Michle. On the crossroad head towards Centrum keep direction Centrum, Teplice and enter the D1 highway. After approximately 2 km the Prague Congress Centre can be seen on the left-hand side. The highway has three lanes there; stay in the right-hand lane. In front of the Prague Congress Centre take the Exit Kongresove centrum to a roadway under highway leading to the parking lot of the Prague Congress Centre.
From Central Station ("Hlavni nadrazi"), take Metro line C (direction "Haje") to "Vysehrad", this is the third station from "Hlavni nadrazi". Prague Congress Centre is next to the station.
From Main Bus Station ("Florenc"), take Metro line C (direction "Haje") to "Vysehrad", this is the fourth station from "Hlavni nadrazi". Prague Congress Centre is next to the station.
On approaching Prague via the D1 highway (direction from Vienna, Bratislava, Brno) follow the signs to the Prague Congress Centre. About 3 km's from the congress centre you will see the 1st sign to the Prague Congress Centre.
Highway D1 leads to "Trida 5.kvetna". At the end of "Trida 5.kvetna" you see the Prague Congress Centre on the left side. The highway has three lanes under "Trida 5.kvetna" which leads to its parking garages.
On approaching, stay in the right lane. In front of the Prague Congress Centre is the subway station "Prague Congress Centre" from the opposite direction (from the centre of Prague) you cross "Nuselsky bridge". Behind the bridge on the right side is sign "Kongresove centrum Praha". The first turn to the right will lead to the parking garages of the Prague Congress Centre.
On approaching Prague via the highway D5 – from Munich, Nurnberg, and Pilsen: At Exit 1 turn to the right (direction Branik, Barrandov). After 15 kilometres you will come to Barrandovsky bridge. Before the bridge take the righthand lane – direction Branik and cross over. Follow the signs: Brno, Ceske Budejovice, they take you to highway D1. Take the direction to Prague and within 5 minutes you will see the 1st sign to the Prague Congress Centre, which is located on the lefthand side. From here follow the directions as in the previous paragraph.
